What is Fill A Backpack?

Fill A Backpack provides backpacks filled with grade-appropriate school supplies to children in need to maximize their academic potential.

When is Fill A Backpack supply drive?

Fill A Backpack runs from June 27th to August 5th 2022.

Who are these backpacks and supplies going to?

Disadvantaged and displaced children living in Metro Denver's eight-county area which includes Adams, Arapahoe, Boulder, Broomfield, Denver, Douglas, Jefferson and Weld. We team up with our Agency Partners who help identify the families in need.

Do I need to purchase everything on the supply list?

Yes, all items on the supply list are required supplies for that grade level. By purchasing all new supplies you will ensure the child who receives that backpack has the tools they need to start the school year prepared to learn. Click here to download and print the Supply List.

Can I purchase items online?

You can absolutely order items online. Please ensure that all items are shipped to: A Precious Child, Attn: Fill A Backpack 7051 W. 118th Ave., Broomfield, CO 80020

When should I drop the backpacks and supplies off?

All backpacks and supplies can be dropped off at A Precious Child from June 27th- August 5th, Monday-Friday from 9:00 AM-5:00 PM. If participating in the challenge, please drop off supplies by July 29th.

A Precious Child is located at 7051 W. 118th Ave., Broomfield, CO 80020.

What is the corporate challenge?

The Fill A Backpack Challenge is a fun way to engage organizations as they compete against each other to collect the most supplies, raise the most funds, and raise the most awareness for the Fill A Backpack Program and A Precious Child.

If you want to ensure your donation is counted for your organization, you can print this supply list, include your contact information and attach it to your donated backpack.
